Founded in 2017, Eimeo Clothing - a Polynesian, women-powered slow fashion house - draws inspiration from our founder’s cherished memories, childhood reveries, and a lifelong fascination with ancient myths and legends.

Eimeo is the ancestral name of Mo‘orea. Through this name, we honor the island’s enigmatic allure, also weaving the nostalgia of Tahiti matamua—the lost golden age—into contemporary, versatile designs made for life in the tropics.

Effortlessly elegant and gracefully functional, each collection unfolds as a living story: a muse, an odyssey, and an homage to the rich tapestry of Polynesian culture. Our textiles are thoughtfully crafted to transition with ease, from beachside moments to boardrooms and starlit soirées. We extend a heartfelt invitation to all - across ages, shapes, sizes, and identities - not merely to wear, but to embody the enduring beauty and spirit of Polynesia.

Eimeo’s main inspiration has always been Polynesian culture, its people, its stories, and everything in between. Today, Eimeo proudly operates three physical boutiques in French Polynesia: the first in Paopao, Mo’orea, followed by two flagship stores in Papeete. Each space reflects the brand’s commitment to refined craftsmanship, timeless design, and the spirit of Polynesian culture. Already present with select global retailers, Eimeo now looks further beyond the horizon, seeking to expand its international presence through exclusive pop-up stores and carefully curated partnerships, sharing its vision of Polynesian elegance with the world.

For a few years now, Eimeo has also expanded into men’s and kids’ clothing, an area the brand is eager to develop further in the future. Seeing families dressed in Eimeo fills us with gratitude and pride.

2027 will mark ten years of Eimeo. A decade of creativity, craftsmanship, and shared stories. Yet, it feels very much like the beginning. What started as a vision has grown into a journey - one shaped by inspiration, community, and heritage - and the road ahead feels more exciting than ever.
