EIMEO presents The Edit 26, in collaboration with Tahitian artist, Tahiri Sommer.

This collection is the result of a true collaboration where Eimeo imagined the silhouettes, while Tahiri brought the prints to life through his singular artistic universe, creating a seamless fusion of two worlds.

Tahiti is more than an island. It is a pulse at the heart of French Polynesia — where mountains rise from the ocean, rivers carve through deep valleys, and the scent of tiare flowers lingers in the warm air.

 

For centuries, Tahiti has been a land of stories, exchanges, and creation. 

 

Once a sacred center of Polynesian navigation and culture, it helped shape the history and identity of modern French Polynesia.

 

Its shores have inspired generations of artists, musicians, and dreamers, drawn by the island’s singular light and spirit.

 

The Tahiti Edit is an ode to this island — to its colors, its soul, and the creative energy it continues to awaken.

Tahiri is a recognized artist from Tahiti, known for a singular artistic universe so distinctive that the moment you see one of his paintings, you instantly know it is his.

 

This collaboration was born from the desire to bring his vibrant and beautiful art into the world of Eimeo through our pieces.

 

As The Edit is Eimeo’s annual collection dedicated to bold and colorful prints, it felt like the perfect collection for this collaboration.

 

The Edit is also the moment where we celebrate a place from across the Pacific each year.

 

For this edition, Moehau, our founder, chose to honor Tahiri’s island of origin.

 

This is how The Tahiti Edit was born.

The campaign celebrates iconic places and cultural moments of Tahitian life, while reinterpreting some of Tahiri’s most emblematic paintings through the lens of fashion and storytelling.

The Tahiti Edit will be available online and in stores for a limited time only, making this collection truly rare and exclusive.
